Mirror in the Mirror is the third and final part of the Mirror trilogy and will premiere in autumn 2017. As the sequel to Spegeln-Kairos (2013) and Zerkalo (2015), it continues to explore the mirror theme with a focus on flashbacks and meetings with the past.
The audience wanders around in a huge maze among scattered mirror lakes where the dancers are linked to their lifelines. We look inward and backward, punctuated by rapid traumatic awakenings. The dancers are moving above their reflective bodies, above themselves. For a brief moment, gravity is gone and their bodies can float freely. The dancers can look down on themselves. In a confused moment of clear vision, a strong and merciless light appears.
