Ata-Ata hörde till Eva Ingemarssons första egna koreografier och uppfördes under en fridansfestival som dansgruppen Rubicon ordnade på hemmascenen Atalante hösten 1987. Föreställningen hör därmed till en av de första Rubicon gjorde på scenen, som hade öppnat i februari samma år. Nämnvärt är att tonsättaren Niklas Rydén med Ata-Ata gjorde debut i danssammanhang.

Ata-ata was one of Eva Ingemarssons first separate choreographies and was premiered during the Free dance-festival that was organised by the dance company Rubicon at their home stage Atalante, autumn 1987. The performance is thereby one of the first the company performed at their home stage that was opened in february that same year. Notable is that the composer Niklas Rydén, with the performance Ata-ata, made his stage debut in a dance context.
